About The Position

Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC is seeking CNC Machine Operators for its production facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role is responsible for setting up and operating production machinery. Training is available for inexperienced operators. Starting pay for operators who require training is $20.00 per hour; experienced operators’ starting pay is commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality American-made products. The position is offered on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good basic math skills.
• A good work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work in a team.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school or prior machining experience is preferred; training is available for the right individual.
• Prior experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
• Mechanical inclination.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery.
