CNC EDM Operator - 3rd Shift

About The Position

This position is scheduled on 3rd shift and includes a 20% shift differential on top the base rate. The CNC EDM Operator will operate EDM machines within the department, inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans. The operator will continuously monitor equipment and tooling, and in the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify the department manager to resolve the problem. The operator will follow instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs, and maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Adherence to company safety requirements and assurance that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
• Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience operating CNC EDM machines, including FANUC Robocut Wire EDM, preferred
