CNC EDM Operator - 3rd Shift

About The Position

This position is scheduled on 3rd shift and includes a 20% shift differential on top the base rate. The CNC EDM Operator will operate EDM machines, inspect parts, and document inspection results. They will continuously monitor equipment and tooling, and notify the department manager in case of breakdowns or disruptions. The operator will follow setup sheets, drawings, and programs, and maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment. Adherence to company safety requirements and Seabrook Quality System procedures is essential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating CNC EDM machines, including FANUC Robocut Wire EDM, preferred

Responsibilities

Operate EDM machines within the department.
Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
Continuously monitor equipment and tooling.
In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.
Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Adhere to company safety requirements.
Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
