About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant to join its Nampa Float Pool. The position supports clinical staff at the unit level through clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination duties. It also involves nursing care and related non-professional services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort, under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The schedule is two 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The employee must be flexible to work a varied schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho, or completion of the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills to competently care for assigned age groups: neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting.
