About The Position

Our House Assisted Living of Cedar City is hiring compassionate, energetic caregivers to care for elderly residents. This part-time role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, documenting and reporting changes or concerns in residents’ conditions, and completing other duties assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator. The position is in person and is listed with a 2 p.m.–10 p.m. schedule.

Requirements

• CNA certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations calmly.
• Good communication skills, including communicating sensitive information empathetically with residents, staff, family members, and professionals.
• A positive and compassionate attitude and a love for working with the elderly.
• Background check upon hire.
• Food handlers permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and TB test.

Nice To Haves

• One year of caregiving experience (preferred).
• Experience as a CNA or Med Tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly residents with activities of daily living.
• Document and notify the Resident Care Coordinator and nurse of changes or concerns in residents’ conditions.
• Complete other duties assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.
