About The Position

The CNA-NAR (Float) provides direct resident care while ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The role requires travel to multiple facilities within a designated Benedictine region as needed. The CNA reports changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN and charts in the POC system. Benedictine is a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica, with core values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice.

Requirements

• Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Hold BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care.
• Report residents’ condition changes to an RN or LPN.
• Chart in the POC system.
• Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
• Travel to facilities within a designated Benedictine region and provide care as required or needed.
