About The Position

The CNA-NAR (Float) provides direct resident care across multiple facilities within a designated Benedictine region, traveling as needed. The role is on the front lines of resident care and supports residents’ dignity, respect, and choices. The CNA reports changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN and charts in the POC system. Benedictine is a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica and guided by the core values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice.

Requirements

• Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Hold BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care.
• Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
• Chart in the POC system.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Travel to facilities and provide care within a designated Benedictine region as required or needed.
