About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 20 years. We are looking to staff a caregiver for a shift every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The caregiver must be an animal lover, as the client has three dogs, one horse, and one donkey. Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide service for a client in your local area. Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Assist with ambulation
• Monitor BP and glucose levels
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Providing companionship
