CNA (Skilled Nursing)- On-Call
About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) incorporate HumanGood’s “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” The role involves developing awareness of residents’ interests and needs and assisting residents to maximize their independence and participation. CNAs provide exemplary care ranging from basic needs and activities of daily living to recreational activities, while helping create a safe environment for resident care. The position is on-call and includes weekend availability for AM and PM shifts. It is located at Terraces of Los Gatos in Los Gatos, California. Pay is $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus shift differentials for PM/NOC and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a CNA in skilled nursing.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
- Prior CNA or caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs.
- Assist residents in maximizing their independence and participation.
- Provide care for residents, including basic needs and activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with recreational activities.
- Help create a safe environment for resident care.
