Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of CO.
Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established facility nursing care procedures and in compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies.
Assist residents with personal cares, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bed mobility, toileting, and eating. Document ADLs appropriately.
Follow shift routines and policies regarding vital signs and weights. Understand and support the Resident Bill of Rights.
Serve meals and assist residents with eating. Record accurate food and fluid intake. Report any chewing or swallowing difficulties to the nurse.
Assist residents with restorative nursing programs, including passive and active range of motion, ambulation with assistive devices, and use of transfer belts.
Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the nurse.
