About The Position
The Lutheran Home is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Skilled Nursing team, with both full-time and part-time schedules available. This role involves providing hands-on personal care to residents, supporting daily living activities, and assisting with nurse-delegated tasks. The position also requires safely operating mechanical lifts, assisting with mobility needs, building relationships with residents, and supporting a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Collaboration with nursing staff is essential to ensure high-quality care and service.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Must be able to produce a negative drug test
- May be subject to a background check
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
