CNA with Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
We are currently offering a limited time Sign-On Bonus for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's). St Luke Health Services is a non-profit nursing and rehabilitation facility in Oswego, NY. We are not a corporate chain; we are a community, and we have been caring for people in this area for a long time. We are looking for CNAs who actually want to know their residents, not just get through a shift. We offer a non-profit mission, which means residents come first, a stable team that has been here a while and actually supports each other, and manageable unit sizes so you can do your job well.
Requirements
- Current NYS CNA certification in good standing
- Dependable, patient, and genuinely kind
- Someone who shows up, follows through, and cares about the people in their care
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nurse
- Help residents move safely, including transfers and ambulation
- Respond to call lights and be present on the unit
- Treat every resident with dignity, patience, and respect
