About The Position

BAYADA's Assistive Care of the Triad office is hiring CNAs for rewarding work where they can make a difference in the lives of others. The role involves supporting clients one-on-one with activities of daily living, providing personal care, household support, and companion care services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. Requirements

• Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with range of motion/exercises.
• Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
