About The Position

The Caregiver at Heritage Greens delivers quality care by encouraging residents’ independence and supporting their physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. This is a part-time first-shift position, scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., including every other weekend. Compensation is $17.50–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. A Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or 80-hour PCA certificate is required. The role includes assisting residents with requests and daily activities, providing companionship, responding to emergencies according to policies and procedures, and documenting care. The Caregiver also contributes to keeping individual service plans current and regularly reviews 24-hour reports and care checklists. Employment offers are subject to completion of the pre-employment process, including passing a drug screen, TB test, and background check. Kisco Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements

Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or an 80-hour PCA certificate.
Completion of a nursing assistant course.
Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications.
Must hold an NC CNA license or an 80-hour PCA certificate.
Bring a positive attitude to work and be a strong team player.

Nice To Haves

High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
First Aid certification and CPR, if required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
Supervise or assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities.
Provide companionship and develop strong relationships with residents.
Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
Document care provided to residents.
Provide input to help keep residents’ individual service plans current.
Regularly review 24-hour reports and care checklists.
