About The Position

Freedom Home Care is seeking CNAs for part-time and full-time positions in the Bowie and Laurel areas. They are expanding their caregiving team and adding new cases throughout most of Maryland. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply to join their team or to be added to a text list for updates on new cases.

Requirements

• High School graduate or G.E.D.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (In person class required)
• Current CNA license
• Complete a criminal background check
• Must have PPD or chest x-ray
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile for transportation for the job
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to lift 150 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for the client.
• Personal Care services including bathing, dressing, assistance with toileting, etc.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Meal planning, preparation and cooking.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Medication reminders and/or management.
• Prescription pick-up.
• Other home care needs.
