About The Position
The Village at Inverness, a Lutheran Life Villages Memory Care Assisted Living, is hiring for part-time and full-time CNA positions. If you are a compassionate CNA who enjoys working with memory care residents, apply today! Lutheran Life Villages has industry leading pay for nursing professionals with CNA pay starting from $18.50 an hour. Part-time: 1st shift Full-time: 2nd shift Every other weekend required for all nursing staff (Saturday & Sunday).
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of the approved Indiana State Board of Health, 105 Hour Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent.
- Certification for Nurse Aide must be active and in good standing with the Registry and must be maintained in accordance with ISDH requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of the needs and concerns of the elderly with the ability to patiently handle various resident behaviors.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in a long-term care facility or health care setting preferred.
- Memory care experience highly preferred.
- Basic computer experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to memory care residents.
