About The Position

Lake Port Square is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join its skilled nursing clinical team. The role involves supporting older adult residents with personal care, treatments, tests, procedures, and mobility, while documenting and reporting observations and results. CNAs work collaboratively with coworkers and help maintain residents’ rooms and respond promptly to call signals. Positions are available full-time, part-time, and PRN for day and evening shifts, including every other weekend. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with a stated salary range of $17.00–$24.50 per hour and shift differentials. The community participates in DailyPay, allowing employees to access pay before payday.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with the state registry is required.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid, including CPR.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Provide treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and keep residents’ rooms clean and orderly.
• Work as a member of the team and get along well with coworkers.
• Accept change in a positive manner.
