About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The position is focused on memory care. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, documents care, reports changes in residents’ health or behavior, engages residents in meaningful activities, and provides emotional support and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• A valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
