About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 25 years. We are looking to staff an experienced CNA for part-time evening shifts in Olney, Monday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The ideal candidate must be skilled in safe transfers, dependable, and able to work independently in a home care setting. This is an immediate start position for a qualified CNA with strong caregiving experience and a focus on client safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
- Skilled in safe transfers
- Dependable
- Able to work independently in a home care setting
- Strong caregiving experience
Responsibilities
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities
- Aiding with activities of daily living
- Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
- Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
