About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is seeking kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs to join their Caregiver family. This specific PRN (as-needed/shift coverage) position is for a bedridden female client with dementia, requiring safe, hands-on personal care. Immediate availability is preferred.

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of CNA experience
• Strong dementia care experience
• Ability to provide safe, hands-on personal care

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage the client in conversation and activities
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Providing companionship
