About The Position

Country Meadows is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who values spending time with older adults, has hands-on care experience, and appreciates working as part of a team. CNAs assist fewer residents per day than at many communities, allowing time to build meaningful connections. The full-time opening is for a consistent 7 a.m.–3 p.m. shift; schedules may accommodate school schedules. Pay is $18.25–$22 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for evening and overnight shift differentials. The role involves helping residents with daily living and personal care, supporting their safety and comfort, and working with nursing and therapy teams.

Requirements

• Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing in the state of Maryland.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be dependable, kind, sympathetic, and respectful, and demonstrate good judgment concerning the rights and dignity of others.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct toward residents, families, and team members.
• Be able to perform the physical tasks required for the role.
• Be comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment.
• Understand and speak English well enough to perform the job safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Get to know residents personally while assisting with activities of daily living, hygiene, healthcare, and comfort throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for residents.
• Collaborate with therapy and nursing teams to prepare residents for therapy sessions and monitor care.
• Encourage residents to participate in social programs and on- and off-campus lifestyle activities that support wellness.
• Recognize and document changes in residents’ condition and safety, and report them to the supervisor.
• Organize and manage daily tasks.
