About The Position

Lake Port Square is an upscale senior living community on a 78-acre nature preserve in Lake County, Florida. The community offers residential options, services, amenities, and activities, and supports residents as they transition from independent living to assisted living and skilled nursing care. The CNA will join the skilled nursing clinical team, assisting older adults with daily care and supporting their health, safety, and comfort. The role is available full-time, part-time, or PRN for day and evening shifts, including every other weekend. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with a stated salary range of $17.00–$24.50 per hour and shift differentials. The position offers paid training and career advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with the state registry.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid, including CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Work as a member of the team, get along with co-workers, and accept change in a positive manner.
