CNA: Part & Full Time Positions (including Live-In)
About The Position
Freedom Home Care is expanding and seeking CNAs for part-time, full-time, and live-in positions throughout Maryland. We are constantly adding new cases and encourage interested individuals to apply to join our caregiving team. We also welcome applications from those who wish to join our text list for updates on new cases. Requirements
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (In person class required)
- Current CNA license
- Complete a criminal background check
- Must have PPD or chest x-ray
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile for transportation for the job
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to lift 150 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care for the client.
- Personal Care services including bathing, dressing, assistance with toileting, etc.
- Light housekeeping and laundry.
- Meal planning, preparation and cooking.
- Grocery shopping and errands.
- Medication reminders and/or management.
- Prescription pick-up.
- Other home care needs.
