About The Position
NHC HealthCare Columbia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Weekend Night Shift Baylor Commitment. This opportunity is ideal for a CNA who enjoys providing hands-on care and would like to work a concentrated weekend schedule.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Tennessee.
- Ability to meet the requirements of the Weekend Night Shift Baylor Commitment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Assist patients and residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other personal care needs.
- Take and record vital signs as directed.
- Observe patients and residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility while following established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients, residents, and families.
- Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and NHC policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
