About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley has tripled its capacity following a major expansion, now housing 171 beds to serve the growing community. The hospital has invested substantially in advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment, attracting a top-notch medical staff and a team of highly skilled nurses. It is a Level III Trauma center, STEMI Cardiac receiving center, and certified stroke treatment center. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. A career path framework for CNAs has been developed to clarify paths to move, develop, and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
• State registered CNA license required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Six months previous CNA experience preferred
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred
