About The Position

Cypress Cove Care Center is seeking a reliable and organized Transportation Driver / Appointment Scheduler (CNA Required) to support our residents’ off-site medical needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, staying organized, and playing a key part in ensuring residents receive timely, coordinated care. This position is primarily responsible for transporting residents safely and managing appointment logistics, while also providing CNA-level support when needed.

Requirements

Active CNA certification (Required)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (Required)
Experience driving patients/residents preferred (SNF or healthcare setting strongly preferred)
Prior scheduling or coordination experience is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to adapt to a flexible, fast-paced daily schedule
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and other off-site visits
Coordinate and schedule all resident appointments (specialists, follow-ups, diagnostics, etc.)
Communicate with physician offices, transportation providers, and facility staff
Ensure all required documentation, paperwork, and resident information accompanies each appointment
Maintain organized schedules and adjust transportation routes as appointments change
Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
Provide CNA support as needed during transport or within the facility
Follow all safety protocols, infection control standards, and HIPAA guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned to support resident care and operations
