The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant Transporter position is to provide each assigned resident with excellent daily nursing care and services to assure resident safety in accordance with the resident’s assessment and plan of care, and as may be directed by your supervisor. This role involves transporting patients, equipment, supplies, and laboratory specimens safely and efficiently within the facility or campus. The CNA Transporter is also responsible for ensuring patient comfort, alerting nursing staff to any distress, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all regulatory and facility policies. Additionally, the role includes preparing resident rooms, escorting new residents, assisting with transfers and discharges, and managing personal possessions.
