About The Position
Maple Farm is offering a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program with free tuition. This program aims to train individuals to become CNAs who will provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role focuses on meeting residents' needs with dignity, respect, and safety, while also supporting household activities and overall resident well-being. Upon completion of the training, this position will transition into a full-time role working the 11pm-7am shift.
Requirements
- Must be 17 years or older
- Knowledge of basic office equipment and electronic medical record systems preferred
- An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, reporting needs and concerns to a licensed Nurse
- Responsible for the safety of residents
- Provide activities, programs and visits geared toward the interests and abilities of the residents
- Assists with transporting residents to activities, events and as needed
- Documentation in electronic medical record system.
