About The Position
Hickory Creek at Crawfordsville is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training program. This is an opportunity for individuals with a caring spirit to turn it into a career. The ASC Nurse Aide Training Program requires no previous experience, only a commitment to providing compassionate care. The program includes free classroom and hands-on training, enabling participants to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon completion and testing, graduates can find employment at any of ASC’s 100 locations across Indiana, with further opportunities for career advancement in nursing.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- No previous experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and assistance with eating and drinking.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, or to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Responding to patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
