Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. This CNA/Telemetry Tech role provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. While in this position you will continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. As an CNA on our team, you will be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation, troubleshooting equipment problems and communicating needs to leader.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- HS/GED required
- CNA State Registered in Colorado required
- Successful completion of ECG exam annually upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Six months previous CNA experience
- Previous telemetry experience
- Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program
