Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old (or meet state program requirements)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to successfully complete CNA training and certification requirements

Responsibilities

• Receive training in resident care and assistance with daily living activities
• Learn communication and customer service skills
• Understand infection prevention and safety practices
• Develop basic nursing skills
• Practice teamwork in a long-term care environment
• Learn to promote dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents
