About The Position

Friendship is seeking motivated individuals to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) through a paid training program. This program offers comprehensive classroom instruction and clinical experience, preparing participants to provide high-quality care and excellent customer service to residents. Upon completion, CNAs will be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, assisting residents with daily personal care, maintaining records, and reporting any changes in resident condition. This role requires adherence to individual care plans and collaboration with supervisors.

Requirements

• Must be able to attend all class sessions
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, making a difference in accordance with each resident’s plan of care
• Assist resident with daily personal care, bath and bathroom functions
• Maintain records of resident care and condition
• Assist resident with toileting, walking, repositioning, sitting, and standing with or without the use of medical equipment
• Comply with all requirements set forth in individual resident care plans, utilizing the kardex for guidance
• Report any injuries, skin conditions, or other changes to residents’ condition/behavior to supervisor immediately
• Prepare, serve, and provide feeding assistance as necessary to include but not limited to set-up
