About The Position

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a CNA Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care. This role involves working exclusively with the Rehab Therapy Team, reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy, to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs. The position includes full onsite restorative training, and no prior restorative experience is necessary, though CNA certification is required. The Restorative Aide will assist in patient restorative care, focusing on programs such as ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, and splint/prosthesis care. The role emphasizes a patient-centered approach within skilled nursing facilities, aiming to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through the EnerG by Aegis programs, which focus on a holistic approach to wellness.

Requirements

• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Work with a dedicated restorative caseload in/with programs including Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, and splint/prosthesis care.
