CNA/Restorative Aide
About The Position
This position provides residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors. The aide ensures resident’s needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity. Responsibilities include documenting care on the Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet, notifying the restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of any problems, referrals or reassessments needed, and reporting significant changes in a resident’s condition or motivational level to the charge nurse.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in Texas
- CNA License
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program preferred
- 6 months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide preferred
