About The Position

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is hiring a CNA Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care. This role involves working exclusively with the therapy team to provide expertise in wellness, fitness, and exercise programs. The position offers full restorative training onsite, with no prior restorative experience required. The CNA Restorative Aide will assist in the restorative care of patients, focusing on ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, range of motion, dressing/grooming, and splint/prosthesis care. The role is part of the EnerG by Aegis program, which focuses on the seven dimensions of wellness for a holistic approach to health.

Requirements

Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice
CNA Certification Required

Responsibilities

Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
Receive full restorative training provided onsite.
Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
Work with a dedicated restorative caseload in/with programs including Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.
