About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a CNA - Rehab/LTC for an exciting Travel or Local job in Newark, NY. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, with the potential to become permanent. The shift is a Day Shift from 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM, with a schedule of 5x8 Hours, requiring every other weekend. The weekly hours are 40, and the pay rate is $20–$26/hr.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year CNA experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility tasks

Nice To Haves

• LTC/Rehab experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Provide skin care and pressure injury prevention
• Take and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations)
• Assist with specimen collection and routine patient care tasks
• Operate patient care equipment (Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, beds)
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Perform hygiene care, bed baths, and linen changes
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Communicate updates to nursing staff and healthcare team
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
