About The Position

This role provides overall support services for the staff scheduling process within a 165-bed facility that offers care for long-term residents and post-acute rehabilitation patients. The facility has two floors with designated units focusing on patient specialties such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer. The integrated services aim to provide goal-oriented, compassionate care for patients to live healthy, active lives. The Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge is located on a 10-acre campus with indoor and outdoor spaces designed to improve independence, strength, and confidence. Patient rooms are mostly private with attached bathrooms and showers, televisions, phones, and large windows. Each unit features a large, accessible living and dining space with a menu-based meal service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
• CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall support services for staff scheduling process.
• Communicates well with staff.
• Performs the scheduling function as directed.
• Works collaboratively with other personnel in matters related to scheduling coverage aspects of patient care.
• Assists with patient scheduling function as needed.
• Completes all functions of the staff scheduling process (i.e. block schedule, vacation calendar etc.).
• Transcribes scheduling information and staff schedules in a timely manner.
