About The Position
Holy Cross Hospital - Davis, a 220-bed hospital serving northern Utah, has expanded its services with a new 16,000-square-foot healthcare facility in Roy, known as the Weber Campus. This campus offers emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The hospital values its Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and provides a supportive team environment with resources for professional growth. A career path framework is available for CNAs to advance into nursing and other roles. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
- State registered CNA license required
Nice To Haves
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
