About The Position

Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position. The position is primarily field-based, with the employee providing care in patient homes throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between patient visits. The role involves performing basic and routine patient care, including personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checking vital signs, monitoring intake/output, assisting with ambulation, and helping patients transfer between surfaces.

Requirements

Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
CNA active in VA (required)
Must have personal vehicle and active Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
