About The Position
Griswold Home Care is seeking a dependable, motivated, compassionate, and reliable caregiver to work a daytime shift (9 am to 5 pm) in Ducktown, GA. The ideal candidate must live near Ducktown and be comfortable working in a client's home where smoking is present. This is a full-time position offering $18 per hour.
Requirements
- Current Georgia CNA license or PCA certification
- High School Diploma or GED- with the ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Good communication skills- written and oral
- Compassionate and positive attitude, with a love for seniors and the disabled
- Current Georgia Driver's license- with proof of current auto insurance
- CPR & First Aid- (Does not accept CPR FOUNDATION)
- TB Skin Test (within last year) or Chest X-ray (within past 5 years)

Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation/feeding, toileting, medication reminders and ambulation
- Complete daily activity logs for every shift
- Driving client to lunch, social engagements, and doctor’s appointments
