CNA Ortho/Med/Surg (Nights)
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA/Nursing Assistant to join its nursing team on the Ortho Med/Surg floor at the Regional Medical Center. The role supports clinical staff at the unit level through clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination, and provides nursing care and related non-professional services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort. Care is provided under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The employee must be flexible to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho, or completion of the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from the AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting.
