The CNA Nursing Assistant will assist the RN with the daily care of patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders, and ambulation. This role involves measuring and documenting vital signs and patient data, performing purposeful rounding, and participating in patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes. The assistant will also collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and complete various errands. Responsibilities include patient positioning and transporting, assisting with nutritional needs, maintaining skin integrity, and potentially removing IVs, providing post mortem care, and performing bladder scans under RN direction. The position requires adherence to infection prevention policies and the ability to provide age-appropriate care.
