About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable CNA / Nurse Assistants for a long-term care assignment in Vestal, New York. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting focused on comfort, safety, and dignity.
Requirements
- Active New York State CNA License required
- BLS Certification required
- Must be comfortable working every other weekend
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Candidates with recent Rehab, Med Surg, or Hospital experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with memory care patient populations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Support patients with memory care and cognitive support needs
- Assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient care protocols
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care at all times
- Accurately document patient care activities according to facility guidelines
