About The Position

The CNA-NAR (Float) provides direct resident care across facilities within a designated Benedictine region as needed. The role operates on the front lines of resident care, promoting dignity, respect, and resident choice. It requires travel between facilities, communication of resident condition changes to an RN or LPN, and charting in the POC system. The position also requires effective time management and task prioritization.

Requirements

• Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Hold BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care.
• Report resident condition changes to an RN or LPN.
• Chart in the POC system.
• Manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Travel to facilities and provide care within a designated Benedictine region as required or needed.
