About The Position
This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Memory Care unit. The position involves providing compassionate personal care services, support, and companionship to residents. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people, and be motivated to make a difference in the lives of seniors. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), observing changes in residents' needs, and collaborating with the Nurse to update care plans. Encouraging resident participation in community programs and activities is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and love working with people!
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- A current state-required certification as a CNA/HHA/CHHA- Medication Aide Certified is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents' day and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
