About The Position

We are looking for a Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Pinnacle Groves Senior Living in Rogers, Arkansas. This full-time position involves creating human connection with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and preparing the environment to facilitate a successful day. The role requires partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, documenting care, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Prepare the dining room for breakfast, set up the library for an event, and prepare resident’s room for their nighttime routine.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
