CNA/MedTech - PT - 3rd shift
About The Position
Moosehaven is a private membership retirement community located on the banks of the St Johns River, in the heart of Orange Park, Florida. With a full range of programs and services, Moosehaven provides seniors 65 and older with a comfortable and secure retirement option. Residents enjoy the benefits of social interaction and support services within a residential community that has served members of the Loyal Order of Moose since 1922. Moosehaven is looking for a CNA/MedTech for their Part-time 3rd shift, 10:00p - 6:30p schedule, working every other Saturday and Sunday in their ELF Unit.
Requirements
- Valid Med Tech Certification (online 6-hour course not accepted)
- Valid CNA license
- Valid CPR / BLS (online certifications not accepted)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a retirement community or long-term care setting.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide direct resident care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Document resident care and observations accurately.
- Respond to resident call lights promptly.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
