About The Position

Our Med/Surg Department is looking for a dependable CNA to join their team! This is a Per Diem Position. Hours could vary: 6AM-2PM, 6AM-6PM, 2PM-10PM, 6PM-6A. Rotating weekends & Holidays! The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides delegated direct nursing care to individual patients and their significant others, when appropriate. The CNA organizes the aspects of care which has been delegated to support the RN in efficiently meeting patient needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school for Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Currently listed on CNA Registry in this state.
• BLS certification required.
• Meets health requirements.
• Ability to work in an acute care patient environment with appropriate technological support.
• Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a calm manner.
• Requires decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Recognizes legal responsibilities and functions as specified by Nurse Practice Act.
