About The Position

The CNA/LNA I assists licensed care staff in performing clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. Duties include helping residents with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, vital signs and weights, and other care-related duties as assigned. As a member of the care team, the CNA/LNA I participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports resident changes in condition as they occur. The position is at Vi at Aventura in Aventura, Florida.

Requirements

Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
Experience is required.
Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
Current First Aid certification is required, or the candidate must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification are required where applicable.
Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
