About The Position
This is a unique and special case for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is looking to provide exceptional one-on-one care during a short-term live-in assignment in the Southwest Lexington, Kentucky area. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to helping our client start each day with dignity, comfort, and encouragement. This position requires assisting the client with getting up and ready for the day while providing compassionate support throughout daily routines.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or CNA experience required.
- Must be comfortable living in the client's home for the duration of the assignment.
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Active CNA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Must be a dog lover and comfortable working in a home with dogs.
- Assist the client with getting up and ready for the day.
- Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare light meals and assist with daily activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor the client's well-being and report any changes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Follow the established care plan and document care as needed.
